Se brinda consejer\u00eda individualizada a las madres de ni\u00f1os identificados como severamente desnutridos u obesos. Ense\u00f1an a las mam\u00e1s c\u00f3mo planificar comidas que utilizan los cuatro grupos de alimentos; los mejores momentos para alimentar a una familia; c\u00f3mo leer las etiquetas de informaci\u00f3n nutricional, especialmente el contenido de az\u00facar y las porciones; consejos sobre c\u00f3mo limitar los aceites, las grasas, los az\u00facares y la sal; c\u00f3mo integrar verduras en las comidas para que sean atractivas para los ni\u00f1os; y la importancia de eliminar la comida chatarra.<\/p><p>La obesidad, un grave problema de salud, es un fen\u00f3meno en los pa\u00edses en desarrollo donde muchas personas luchan contra la escasez de alimentos. Desde 2010, M\u00e9xico ocupa el primer lugar en el mundo en obesidad infantil. Mejorar la calidad de la dieta es la respuesta preventiva y correctiva m\u00e1s importante para abordar este problema.<\/p><p>Los talleres ayudan a las madres a aplicar conceptos b\u00e1sicos de nutrici\u00f3n mientras preparan las comidas familiares en el hogar, incluyendo la cantidad de alimentos necesarios para cada ni\u00f1o, ya que cada ni\u00f1o tiene necesidades diferentes seg\u00fan su edad, tama\u00f1o, gen\u00e9tica, vida en el hogar y nivel de actividad f\u00edsica.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Family Nutrition workshops are conducted for the mothers of the children we serve.
