Para lograr nuestro objetivo de abordar el hambre en la comunidad m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las escuelas y la primera infancia, exploramos c\u00f3mo podemos unir esfuerzos con otros programas caritativos en nuestra comunidad para aprovechar los recursos de cada uno, como una relaci\u00f3n sin\u00e9rgica en la que podemos combinar la cocina y la red de distribuci\u00f3n de otra organizaci\u00f3n con Los inmensos canales de Feed the Hungry para adquirir alimentos nutritivos a bajos costos unitarios.<\/p>

Gracias a la generosidad de nuestros donantes, podemos proporcionar alimentos a hu\u00e9rfanos, ni\u00f1os con discapacidades y ancianos que son atendidos por las siguientes organizaciones ben\u00e9ficas urbanas locales:<\/p>

    A trav\u00e9s de un programa cooperativo con la ONG local Patronato Pro Ni\u00f1os, el cuidado y la higiene dental se brinda exclusivamente a los ni\u00f1os mediante camionetas dentales que visitan las aldeas rurales donde Feed the Hungry San Miguel tiene cocinas escolares. Las camionetas son compartidas por Feed the Hungry y Patronato Pro Ni\u00f1os y est\u00e1n equipadas como cl\u00ednicas dentales independientes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    En la comunidad de Los Ricos de Abajo, un cuerpo de maestros voluntarios de EUA y Canad\u00e1, bajo la direcci\u00f3n de un ex S\u00edndico de Feed the Hungry San Miguel, imparten clases de ingl\u00e9s para ni\u00f1os y adultos, han construido una biblioteca escolar y un Centro de Aprendizaje con computadoras. e Internet, financi\u00f3 un comedor en la escuela, proporcion\u00f3 becas a los ni\u00f1os y foment\u00f3 la educaci\u00f3n continua.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Somos conscientes de la importancia no solo de la alimentaci\u00f3n, sino tambi\u00e9n del agua limpia y la hidrataci\u00f3n adecuada para la salud. Sabemos que algunas comunidades tienen poca o ninguna agua disponible localmente, mientras que otras tienen agua contaminada. Para los residentes que viven en o por debajo del nivel de pobreza, el agua embotellada es simplemente inasequible.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    La fuente de agua de San Miguel de Allend es un acu\u00edfero subterr\u00e1neo hecho de roca volc\u00e1nica. El nivel fre\u00e1tico contin\u00faa descendiendo mientras que las concentraciones de ars\u00e9nico y fluoruro contin\u00faan aumentando. Los ni\u00f1os corren mayor riesgo, ya que sus cuerpos en crecimiento absorben estos minerales peligrosos a un ritmo mucho mayor.<\/p>

    La falta de agua potable en muchas de las comunidades donde operamos comedores escolares presenta un desaf\u00edo para nuestra misi\u00f3n. En colaboraci\u00f3n con la ONG local Caminos de Agua, se monitorea la calidad del agua en todas las cocinas escolares de FTH. Actualmente proporcionamos agua embotellada a las cocinas de las comunidades que no tienen otra opci\u00f3n, y tambi\u00e9n mantenemos las cisternas y los sistemas de filtraci\u00f3n que se han instalado en algunos lugares.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
